A
second grandson was arrested in the death of an elderly Southfield
man.
Two
grandsons are in custody along with another young man. The
79-year-old man found dead in his Southfield home Monday was
found in a bedroom, according to Southfield Police, who are
trying to piece together what happened.
It
is reported the caregiver of the 79-year-old was taken by
someone to the bank to draw some money from the man's bank
account. She refused and tried to get away by the suspect's
Jeep.
There
was a scene with that Jeep after it crashed in a getaway attempt
and a 19-year-old was arrested. He is reported to be the grandson
of the victim. Another grandson who lived at the Southfield
home was arrested later.
Police
say the only theory or motive they have could be robbery.
No arraignment is expected today.
