Celebrate the work of one of the great masters of Impressionism, Edgar Degas.
Degas and the Dance, on view at the DIA from October 20, 2002 to January 12, 2003, provides a backstage pass to 19th-century Parisian ballet.
By placing more than 100 of Degas' works side-by-side with model stage sets, costume designs, and photographs of the dancers, the exhibition offers an unprecedented glimpse into the world of dance and into the mind of a brilliant artist.
We're giving away 2 sets of 4 tickets to the exhibit.

Degas and the Dance Contest rules:
- No
Purchase Necessary
- You
must be a resident of the State of Michigan. Winners
must provide a valid Michigan driver's license,
valid picture I.D. voter's registration or birth
certificate.
- The
prize consists of: 4 tickets to the DIA's Degas and the Dance exhibition.
(Two prizes will be awarded.)
- This
Package is the only prize that will be offered.
Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater
value.
- Employees (and their immediate family members)
of The DIA or WXYZ/Scripps Howard and any involved advertising agencies or companies are
not eligible to enter or win.
- Prize
winners will be selected at random from eligible
entries received by 11/24/2002.
- All
decisions of the judges are final. The odds of winning
are dependent upon the number of eligible entrees
received.
- This
contest may be prohibited by law. All taxes and
other expenses not specified herein are the sole
responsibility of the winner. The winner agrees
to release WXYZ-TV as well
as any affiliates, subsidiaries, parent or related
companies, distributors, employers and agencies
of any and all liability in connection with this
promotion.
- To
enter go to WXYZ's web site (www.detnow.com)
and fill out the required information. All entrees
must be made on line before noon on 11/24/2002.
Others will be disqualified. No mechanically reproduced
entries will be allowed.
- Winner
may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility/release
of liability and publicity. Acceptance of the prize
constitutes permission for sponsor to use winner's
name and likeness for advertising purposes without
further compensation unless prohibited by law.
- Winner
will be notified by phone or mail.
- For
the name of the winner available after the drawing
